Upcoming Feature for Pre-released v0.3

Hey everyone! 👋

I'm starting to plan for the next version, pre-released v0.3, of Checker Chess. I've compiled a list of features I think would be great to add. I'd love to get your thoughts and feedback on these ideas, and feel free to suggest any other features you think are important.

Proposed Features for Pre-released v0.3

Here are the features I'm proposing to add to the next version:

1. Castling

This allows you to move your king two squares toward a rook and then place the rook on the other side of the king.

2. Promotion

When your pawn reaches the opposite side of the board, you can promote your chess pieces to a queen, rook, bishop, or knight, and your checker pieces to a queen checker. This adds a whole new layer of strategy to the endgame and can completely change the outcome of a match.

3. Check Prevention

The game will enforce that any move you make cannot put your own king in check.

I'd appreciate any feedback on this list. Are there any other features you think are essential for v0.2? Should any of these be prioritized over others?
