Loss of exif data

You have a selection to save metadata, however, there is still a significant loss of other data. I believe its exif? Can you implement changes to also preserve exif data?

Is there any chance you can share a sample image that I can try converting that reproduces this? On all my test images, all of the EXIF data gets carried over to the converted file (though it could perhaps have been an issue with Microsoft HEIF Encoder that has been fixed by Microsoft since you posted this issue)
