Respectful collaboration proposal from SIH project regarding SDA #1106

@EliasGl-DE

Hello Jesse,

My name is Elias and I’m writing to you on behalf of the SIH (Steam Inventory Helper) team — the largest community-driven Steam-related project.
First of all, we want to express our deep respect for your work and especially for creating Steam Desktop Authenticator, which became a core foundation for safe and secure Steam interactions.

We consider ourselves your followers, and we’ve built upon your work to create SIH SDA — a modern version of SDA integrated for our users.
We are actively developing and improving it, and we are working hard to educate users about the importance of two-factor authentication, to help more people stay safe and protected on Steam.

We’ve noticed that the original SDA project is no longer being actively maintained, which is totally understandable — time and priorities change.
That said, we’d love to connect with you, share what we’ve done, and even ask if you’d consider adding a small mention or banner in your GitHub repo that links to our official SIH-SDA, marking us as a trusted continuation of your original work.

There are now a lot of clones and scammers misusing the SDA name for malicious purposes, and we want to make sure people know which version is truly safe and continuing your original legacy.

We would be honored to talk more with you and truly hope to earn your trust and support.

With much respect,
Elias
on behalf of the SIH Team
