Crash bug with sugarcane placing

Weird crash bug with sugarcane builder; It crashes every time the mod tries to refill my hotbar after either logging in or buying sugarcane from the bazaar.

I tried:

• Allocating 8gb of ram to mc
• Disabling my resource pack
• Disabling all other mods

I checked the stack trace and I believe it's related to

I'm not sure because I don't know much about the modding API or java itself, however 1 second after it sends the "Preparing to move sugarcane" message, it crashes my game. I'm assuming it can't open my inventory?? No clue what's going on but I'm trying to be as verbose as possible.
