Water flow to bottom

Is there anyway to make it when you use a bucket to place water than the source block will get moved to the lowest position and not just gone entirely? Cause right now how it is you cannot permanently place water at all. It just flows then goes away.

No, you should disable the limited liquids in the config. If you still want a source block, you can create one with the water item. Using buckets is the only thing that is limited.

Haven't started yet, I have been working extensively on Zombie Ablockalypse, and I will get to this after Ablockalypse's release.

I actually just finished re-writing the plugin entirely. Now I am adding new stuff to it, and I am looking into this. There are a few things I have to think through first:

1.) When do I remove the spread-out water? When spread thin and sunny after a set period of time? When spread too thin?
2.) How do I push water farther out until the center (source) is level with the rest of the water?
3.) How do I do it in Java?

Along with those, I also have to think about the other features I am adding. I am planning on adding the ability of liquids to be pushed by other blocks, including other liquids of the same type. This would allow pistons to send water through pipes, or really any other use you can think of.
Then I am also looking into ways of making pushed liquid react to walls in which it is pushed into. If pushed by another liquid of the same type, I think I want it to spread out on the wall ,that way it can be pushed through pipes and work its way around the corners of the pipe.

There are a lot of features I am looking to add and I hope they come to fruition, but I do need time. Like I said, I rewrote the plugin, so now it has all of the resources necessary and the framework to be able to add these features. 1.3.0 should be a very exciting update!

I believe I have the pipe and liquid wall-reaction abilities done. I have started work on this issue, and it should be done fairly soon.

My attempt involves creating a list of blocks which have been derived into a new block class (my own), and limiting all of them once, that way they flow as normal limited water does. When a new block is limited, the height of all blocks is checked. If all of the heights are at the lowest, it waits a second (as if waiting for another liquid spread) and then removes the water. If the heights do not all reach lowest, then the water stays. This prevents the gathering of water at the tops of mountains, and keeps the water moving in the path of least resistance to a valley or lake. This works for both liquids.

After all of this is added, I will be looking into adding a few more features if possible, and then doing thorough testing to prevent all bugs upon release.

Another update on this:

I changed up my approach. Now, if a block cannot spread any more (meaning it will not move), it just moved to that position, and it is not attached to a source block (and the config value is true), it will become a source. This means water will accumulate where possible, as long as it cannot move, and it is not already attached to a source.

This is faster than the previous attempt.

nope, been busy, I pushed the latest a while ago, and anyone can PR and update it. It gets updated whenever I get time, although this functionality is in the latest version.
