Always get the same .mkv file no matter the settings

I use youtube-dl from the official repositories (community) on manjaro 21.2rc and youtubedl-gui from AUR (https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/youtubedl-gui) and if i use the video tab no matter the settings i specify i get a .mkv when the download finishes. the .mkv files is the exact same size and contents every time.

tried the flatpack version and the same behavior happens.

It could be due to issues in youtube-dl. See this thread: ytdl-org/youtube-dl#30363
If issues like this keep occurring I will switch to the fork yt-dlp.

That would be cool. Using yt-dlp through a gui is the best possible combo I can think of atm for casual dl'ing. So long as the mp4 option in GUI works and stays working. Command line recipes are a begrudged fallback solution for some ;)
