App says "Failed to fetch" when adding Navidrome

I'm using the android app and trying to add my Navidrome server but I keep getting that error.

No. Does it have to be Https to work?

yes :) for now yes... I could try to make it accept http connexions, but it's more complex to implement cause I would probably have to bypass security policy (web renderer warnings about "insecure connexion")... and ... it's a regression back to the good old age of http ... :/

Of course, since 90% of web servers in the world run on LINUX : it's the correct platform to host a nginx TLS reverse-proxy in front of your navidrome. It can even run on the same machine. My private cloud system is comprised of 2 Raspberry Pi5 running Docker on top of Debian. Navidrome is running on one host, the Nginx on the second, as well as several "cloud" services. You can also use Cloudflare to protect all this, as I do.
