Many sounds don't play on a server

When playing on a server, many of the sounds don't actually play. The only one I've noticed play is the item drop sound when you do it from your inventory, but that's it. Everything works fine in singleplayer though.

I have a similar issue, but on singleplayer instead. What version are you using? I'm using 1.21. All of the block sounds don't work for me.

I have other mods and resource packs installed, could that be issue? (Ik you're not the mod dev I'm just asking around). I've already tried removing Presence Footsteps and Music Delay Reducer, with no success. Could you send me your modlist so I can figure it out? The client/singleplayer one, preferably.

Just disable all your mods except fabric api and this one, then test it

I can confirm it doesnt work on multiplayer servers.

Potentially important info: During my testing, I noticed the all the sounds we can't hear in multiplayer are played as 3D sounds instead of ?client-side? sounds
(That can be heard by swinging an axe and strafing on one side. You'll hear the sound to the opposite of the direction you're going.)

I have the same issue, 1.21 version does not work at all
