Looking into the documentation and playing around with the Files features I am getting more and more used to it. And renaming seems not to be a good idea either. Being someone grown up with IT terms this is fine. For someone Groupware IT not being daily life experince dealing with some of these terms might be - lets say kind of "difficult". At least hiding some terms user might not need for their daily Group-Office live (i.e. Files located Addressbook folder) would be - from my point of view - a good thing. Anyway - closing my request for now. Kind regards, Walter |

Hello, another possibly beginners question - this time regarding the "Files" module: There are predefined folders "Eigene Ordner" (My folders), "Gemeinsame Ordner" (Shared folders) and "Adressbuch" (Addressbooks):
Right now my GO instance is organized so that personal resources are named according to the username (i.e. a private calender + notes tool is named "Anton Demo") and shared resources like calenders, notes, addressbook, ... are named according to the company name (i.e. "Demo GmbH"). So naming like "My folders" and "Shared folders" does not fit well in such a naming convention.
I suppose it's not possible/a good idea to rename the predefined ones!? Is it possible to hide them for standard users and create new ones according to private/shared function? From what I can see it's not possible to create new "Files" folders in the top level where the predefined folders are located?
Of course I can do it the other way round and name private resources "My calendar/addressbook/..." but I would prefer an individual and easy to identify name where the persons first/last name works perfectly for me.
Not a big show stopper but nice2have :-) Kind regards, Walter
