Which APK should you download?

• arm64-v8a should work on most devices.
• armeabi-v7a if your device is a 15+ year old phone.
• x86_64 for 64-bit Android simulators (on a PC).
• x86 for 32-bit simulators.

If these rules not working, download the universal APK. It should work on any device.
Please note downloading videos from BiliBili/NicoNico are not supported on armeabi-v7a/x86 devices due to technical reasons.

Thank you for the release. The need-to-reload fix helps a lot. However, the shorts-tab thumbnail issue is still present for me in this build. When convenient, if applicable, please consider incorporating the fix: it works for me in NewPipe 0.28.1 (with Extractor 0.25.0). I don’t think there’s any viable client-side workaround for this one (short of intercepting/rewriting responses via a proxy).

Can Ibupdate to 4.7.8 if I have updated from 4.7.7 to 5.0rc from previously? Or do I have to clean install 4.7.8.

I'm going to go ahead with using pipepipe x, but want to have v4 as well.

You will need to uninstall first since 5.0rc has higher version code. Then import backup from 4.7.7 or, use the converter and convert the 5.0rc backup to 4.
