bin/erlexec: cannot execute binary file

Executing

bin/semq -detached -port 8080 

against a downloaded copy of

semq-0.2.5.tar.gz — 0.2.5 release for 64 bit Linux systems

on OSX

results in the error

bin/semq: line 46: ./semq-0.2.5/erts-5.9.1/bin/erlexec: cannot execute binary file

is there intended to be a separate OSX binary or should this work on all *nix platforms ?

[Though this is a very old thread, it might still help]

As this project is no longer being maintained, I doubt someone would build a OSX / cross *nix binary.

For my own purposes:

1. I compiled erlang 5.9.1 on Mac OSX and Pi (debian)
2. Replaced the erts directory in the downloaded semq 0.2.5 (since it looks for that particular erl version).

If you need the built binaries, please contact me, as I don't have access to the downloads page here for upload.
