Could this be used to open a app and send a https get silently

I’d like to use the Leanback Shortcut and Web Bookmarks functions but at the same time, I want to make a shortcut to open app and send a https get command to a ifttt webhook using a Web Bookmark but I want the web bookmark function to happen in the background (no browser opening) is this at all possible?
Or is it possible it edit the web bookmark maker so it will send a https get silently (doesn’t launch a browser) or even the apk after it’s built? if it’s not possible to make both functions work at the same time that is.
