Overview

• This project aims to develop a set of operational best practices for using generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools, such as agents, to build rapid prototypes, apps, and reports for the Dataverse Project.

Background

• New and rapidly evolving AI technologies, such as generative AI and AI agents, are becoming more common in the workplace. In response, IQSS and the Dataverse team seek to define responsible ways to use AI tools to accelerate Dataverse workflows and identify new applications for AI that improve business processes and help communicate the value of the Dataverse platform to our disparate user communities. In this context, responsible use means deploying AI transparently, while minimizing tech and process debt and limiting user harms.
