No .version file - which are the supported KSP versions for real?

As there are many mods which are backwards compatible, this info mostly can be found easily by just looking into the .version file where it says what is the minimum and maximum supported KSP version.

And many devs today create mods which are backwards compatible over several versions and not only the latest KSP release - as there are many players who use older versions, especially RSS RO RP-1 players.

1. with the lack of a .version file, how compatible is this mod?
2. could you add a .version file?

I don't keep old KSP versions and cannot quickly figure out the min compatible version.
The same for max version - I don't have future KSP versions and don't know on which of new versions my mod will stop working or start spamming with exceptions. Usually there are no problems with new KSP versions in my mods, but sometimes I recompile existing version to new version just in case.
