Alternative solution: extending Flarum Forum software

A thought that crossed my mind a week ago: we could have used a Forum Software like Flarum (https://flarum.org/), and added extensions for voting (full and quarter votes), Moderated Onboarding, Facilitator/Speaker. There is already functionality for notifications, for tags, comments etc.
Well, perhaps an idea for the future...
