Enable more (debug) compiler output

Is it possible to add some options to print more (debug) compiler output, similar to the environment variable `PYOPENCL_COMPILER_OUTPUT=1` for pyopencl? While Nvidia is not very verbose, the output for Intel CPUs can be useful sometimes.
