API Error in Launching a Session

Hello! I am a behavioural researcher, with very limited coding knowledge. Does anyone have any ideas why I may be running into this error when trying to start a new session?

can you describe how you arrive at this error? How do you try to start a new session? And what does "starting a new session" mean? Have you created a session before?

Confirming I resolved this error after correcting an element on the configuration form, following re-watching the tutorial video.

I looked into one of the CSV files in your repository, though I'm not certain whether that's the exact file you used. Based on what I saw, there are two potential issues:

Delimiter mismatch (most likely the culprit)

Your CSV file uses commas to separate the columns. The configurator at dice-app.org has a field where you specify the delimiter (the default is semicolon). If you didn't change this setting, the app expects semicolons but receives commas, which causes the error.
A delimiter is simply the character that separates one column from the next in your file. When you open your file in a text editor or view the raw file on GitHub, you'll see either commas or semicolons between your data fields.
In your file, the first row looks like this:
doc_id,datetime,text,media,likes,...
But if the configurator is set to semicolon (the default), it expects:
doc_id;datetime;text;media;likes,...
To fix this, you have two options:

Change all the commas in your CSV file to semicolons, OR
In the configurator form at dice-app.org, find the delimiter field and change it from semicolon to comma

Make sure the delimiter in your file matches what you specify in the configurator. I expect this to be the main issue, though I cannot know with certainty since I don't know which value you set in the form field.

Missing column

Your CSV file is also missing the alt_text column. This column should appear right after the media column. The app uses this column to provide alternative text for images (helpful for accessibility and screen readers). Even if you don't have descriptions for your images, you still need to include this column. You can leave it empty.
Your header row should look like this:
doc_id;datetime;text;media;alt_text;likes;reposts;...

Thank you! This helps me configure the study error free. Though now, i'm running into this issue (see screenshot). Any idea why my image isn't loading properly? I copied the link from unsplash.com
