Speed Effect Bug for Bedrock Players Using Geyser and Floodgate #1

@ripsto

Description

@ripsto

When using the FasterPathways plugin on a server with Geyser and Floodgate installed, Bedrock players experience inconsistent speed effects when walking on configured blocks such as dirt paths. Instead of receiving a constant speed boost, they alternate between being accelerated and slowed down, making pathways difficult to traverse. This issue does not occur for Java players.

Steps to Reproduce:

Set up a Minecraft server with Geyser and Floodgate.
Install the FasterPathways plugin and configure it to provide a speed effect on dirt paths.
Join the server using both Java and Bedrock clients.
Walk on the dirt path with each client and observe the speed behavior.
Expected Behavior:
Bedrock players should receive the same smooth and consistent speed boost as Java players without sudden fluctuations.

Environment:

Server version: 1.21.4
Geyser version: 2.6.1-SNAPSHOT
Floodgate version: 2.2.4-SNAPSHOT (b116-0e3163c)
FasterPathways version: 1.3
Additional Information:
This issue might be related to differences in how movement and status effects are handled between Minecraft Java and Bedrock editions. Any guidance or potential fixes would be appreciated.

Thank you for your support!
