Hosted API does not seem to return events

Querying https://events.historylabs.io/year/1999, I get the result:

I don't believe that's correct.

Same problem here, the API may be outdated as the last update was over 2 years ago?

@Gregs9 I ended up parsing the data from https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=1234&action=raw manually (admittedly I used the Dutch version and the formats seem to differ, but you can go line by line, check whether you have seen the == Events == header, and do some regex replacements for , {{ }}, [[a]] etc.)
