Simulation taking hours

Hi,
Compiled with make and tried

./mcpat -infile ProcessorDescriptionFiles/Xeon.xml
However, McPAT is taking hours without printing any result.

The ARM example
./mcpat -infile ProcessorDescriptionFiles/ARM_A9_2GHz.xml
works fine and provides results in seconds.

Is this there a known issue with the Xeon.xml example?

Update: It finishes fast using the mcpat version https://github.com/atsmith3/mcpat (which is listed in the pull requests of this repo).

I believe the issue is related to the power_gating parameter. The Xeon has gating, while the ARM processor and others do not. Disabling it for my configuration dramatically improved the duration.

It turns out this isn't quite the case for anyone wondering. The problem is UB that causes mcpat to hang when power_gating is enabled. The fork linked above fixes this which is why it finishes at all. So, if anybody wants power gating use that!
