Characters are duplicated when modifying a DuckDuckGo Search in FF Nightly

Describe the bug
This seems to be a very specific issue so not sure how many users this effects. When using DuckDuckGo in Firefox Nightly, when I attempt to modify a search characters are duplicated. This makes it impossible to modify existing searches and type anything into search bar.

To Reproduce

1. Use FireFox Nightly
2. Conduct an initial search (either via the address bar or the DDG homepage).
3. Once a search has been initiated, tap the search bar to modify existing search
4. Modify existing search, either using backspace, space, or typing additional characters.
5. The existing characters will be duplicated ad infinitum. The only way to resolve is refreshing and starting a new search.

Note: This appears to only occur using DuckDuckGo in Firefox Nightly. It does not occur with other search engines nor does it happen in the normal Firefox. It also only happens with Heliboard. I can get this to replicate 100% of the time doing this and cannot replicate otherwise.

Expected behavior
Characters should not be duplicated.

I just found this issue and the old issue that got closed because ddg fixed the issue?
