Click-drag selecting cells does not deselect text in first cell

When click-dragging to select more than one cell, the text in the original cell stays selected.

It should probably lose its selection -- although I'm not sure exactly how it should work when the cursor is then dragged back to the original cell. Should it select text, or should the whole cell remain selected?

What to do here?

I'm not sure what you mean by dragging back to the original cell.

Click selection should be:

1. mouse down on the cell you want to start in
2. hold down shift
3. find and mouse down or mouse up in the cell you want to end in
4. deselect everything in the text flow
5. draw background cell selection

I think it should select the text if the cursor is inside the cell or select the cell if at the edge of the cell. But for the interim it could just select the cell (and deselect the text).
