Echo Deck power level #79
Description
As I understand it the goal of this mod is to fit in with vanilla and as such each new bit of content is meant to be roughly on par with vanilla power levels.
It is okay for some decks to be more powerful than others and it is okay if one of the stronger decks comes from a mod that seeks to fit into the vanilla experience. However I think Echo Deck is strong enough that it is a clear outlier in a class of its own.
The only measurement I can offer is that after ~200 hours of vanilla gameplay my high score was e28. My first game with Extra Credit I played Echo Deck and achieved e38 on white stake without explicitly attempting to build towards endless. I have since continued up the stakes (without playing into endless / stopping at ante 9) and continue to easily win each game, though I have not yet reached gold stake. My experience is that Echo Deck makes the early game, mid game, and late game easy.
I'll not immediately dive into theorizing potential changes. This issue is for the purpose of discussing Echo Deck's power level.
