curl based install failed on Rackspace server

curl -Lk io.govready.org/install | sudo bash just stalled downloading script on a Rackspace server. Could be a certificate issue? Meanwhile, wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/GovReady/govready/master/install.sh worked fine.
