On ember 3.17.0 the tree gets collapsed on every change

Hello, I'm testing on Ember 3.17 and every time a value is changed (a boolean is toggled, a string is edited, etc..) the tree gets collapsed.

What Ember version are/were you running before 3.17? Did you have it working on any version since Octane was released i.e. >= 3.15? The addon uses observers which have changed from sync to async in Octane. This may be related to the issue

The code for the addon hasn't really changed since it was created in 2014 so its possible that observers could have been removed long ago. The only real work done on the addon was moving it from Ember 1.3 to 3.x with minimal code changes.

I may not get to it for a couple days but I will look at using Ember 3.16

I have not had a chance to look into the issue with Ember 3.17 but I did update the addon to Ember 3.12. I published a new release so you may want to try this version to see if the issue still exists.

It's published as 1.0.0 because node v8 support was dropped

I was able to get past collapsing nodes issue on edits by overriding the jsonDidChange observer/function and replacing this.editor.set(json) with this.editor.update(json) Apparently, as per the docs, update will retain the state of the editor while set resets the state of the editor.

I am on Ember 3.20.5 and using 1.0.0 of this add-on.
