Inaccurate book read

Heya.

Looking at KOInsight, it's showing that I read two separate books yesterday:
Book 1 for 3:06
Book 2 for 1:27

I haven't touched book 1 for weeks, and I knew I had read the same book for around 4.5 hours yesterday. Thought that was weird, so I checked KOReader's statistics, and it doesn't show that I touched Book 1 at all yesterday (which I hadn't). Going down the rabbit hole, I pulled the sqlite DB and checked it myself. The DB itself shows that Book 1 hasn't been touched since mid-December. Interestingly, the DB also shows that a few books have been split into two entries in the book table. One of those is the book I'd read for 4.5 hours yesterday; it's got two entries in the book table, so two book.ids, but book.title is the same. A quick look suggests that's abnormal behavior for the statistics plugin, so that piece of it likely has nothing to do with KoInsight. Suppose I could attempt to merge those records in the DB.

At any rate, it does seem that KoInsight is applying the incorrect title to that book on the front-end for some reason. Even if the same book has two records in the DB, both records do have the same title, and certainly neither of them shares the same ID as the book KoInsight is showing I read for three hours yesterday.

Alright, I did manage to get the records merged using Ko-Merge. Simply re-syncing to KoInsight seemed to cause issues, so I just removed and remade the container and synced again, and now it's showing data just fine. Curious about what caused the split records to begin with, but that probably is wholly unrelated to KoInsight.

Unrelated, but maybe KoInsight shouldn't bother showing a book on the calendar if the read time is 00:00. ;)
