This issue is fixed in MyEclipse 2026.1
Please update to this release if working on macOS Tahoe.
Users using macOS Tahoe 26.1 will not be able to select text in MyEclipse editors. This is due to a breaking change in macOS 26.1, as documented in this issue.
This issue will likely affect MyEclipse 2025.2 and earlier versions.
While we work on an update to address this issue, users can apply the following workaround to MyEclipse 2025.2 in the near term. This workaround will restore text selection behavior.
pluginsfolder, you will find either of the following files, based on whether you installed the x64 or AArch64 version of MyEclipse:org.eclipse.swt.cocoa.macosx.aarch64_3.130.0.v20250528-1759.jarOR
org.eclipse.swt.cocoa.macosx.x86_64_3.130.0.v20250528-1759.jarMake a backup of this file.
5. Replace the file with the corresponding version from the zip downloaded in step 2.
When you start MyEclipse, the issue should now be fixed. For further assistance, please feel free to open a new thread or write to us at support@genuitec.com
