Where is the variable "speed" defined in this script? #5

First my congratulations for this amazing script.
I have a question:
I see that in the sketch PersonTrackerDualMotorDriver.ino on line 161 and following lines the variable 'speed' is written.
Where in this sketch or in the included libraries is this variable defined?
I can't find it.
