[RFC] Agent-native payment gating for Shopify MCP — pay-per-API call via x402 #17
Description
Hi — I've been working on Tomopay, a payment gateway for MCP servers that lets agents pay per tool call via x402 (USDC stablecoins) or Stripe.
I forked your repo and added withPayments() — here's the working fork: https://github.com/tomopay/shopify-mcp
With this, agents using Shopify MCP would pay $0.05 per API call automatically. No API key management needed on the agent side.
Would you be open to a PR? Happy to adjust pricing, protocol, or anything else. Also happy to answer questions about how it works.
