User Story
In order to respond to OIG follow-up question #7, the Data.gov team wants to document the API timeout length for Data.gov's API.
Background
Source: OIG follow-up question #7, received after 2/6/26 GSA response.
Timeout configuration may exist at multiple layers:
- Application-level timeout (catalog application code)
- cloud.gov router timeout
- Load balancer/CDN timeout (if applicable)
- api.data.gov proxy timeout (if API requests route through the api.data.gov proxy)
OIG Requirement: Provide documentation.
