Better support for words with symbols in them.

This milestone:

• hyphenated words
• abbreviation mark (.) and apostrophe (') at the end of the word
• words with numbers and other special symbols in them (1st, 2nd, etc...)

Possible related:

• support skipping words based on some sort of basic regular expression (likely to be required to correctly handle 4th, 5th, ... 100th, ...)

Some other milestone:

• words with spaces in them
