Using S-CCD with Sentinel-2 data?

Could S-CCD be used with Sentinel-2 MSI data, using the closest bands to Landsat OLI sensor and masking cloudy observations before passing them to the function?
I'm working on a boreal study area where I'd like to use S-CCD, but I don't get enough cloud free Landsat images during the growing season to make it work.

Thanks for the pointer! It looks like there is a reference to a long-wave infrared band for S2 here. How is that dealt with?

@danscr I created new functions called "cold_detect_flex"(COLD) and "sccd_detect_flex"(SCCD), which allows you to input any feature bands (n<11) to do SCCD or COLD. You might try it first.

I am writing a detailed tutorial for the package now.
