If the vanecal scans are listed in bad feeds, one should attempt to use the other set of vanecal scans to set the Tsys. If neither are viable, the data should not be calibrated and a warning given to the user.
The case we've run into is that our first vanecal scan is bad, but the one at the end of a block is okay.
