Missing PHP version constraint

The composer.json file is missing a php version constraint, so it's unclear which versions of PHP are supported by this library.

Please add this information.

Thanks @glen-84 we'll look at doing that. For your info, it seems like versions < 8.1 work, but 8.1+ don't (at least from this community filed issue: #26 )

I actually need the minimum version, as we're currently stuck on an older version of PHP (7.0.x).

Do you know what the targeted PHP version is, or would we need to run something like PHPCompatibility in order to determine the minimum supported version?

php7 should work fine. I have used it with 7.2.5 and this blog post talks about working with 7+.

If it doesn't work with 7.0, please let us know as we'd like to support backward compatibility in this repo.
