Bug: Dino app: audio does not work on FLX1 when initiating calls #218
Description
Audio calls initiated with Dino (xmpp app) on the FLX1, both the flatpak and the deb, fail. However, they fail in different ways.
Interestingly, if Dino answers an incoming call, audio does work perfectly fine in both directions. That is, if Dino receives the call, it connects and I can hear the other person, and the other person hears me. And this is true for both the flatpak and the deb versions.
However, when placing calls, Dino fails as follows-
Flatpak: when placing an audio call with Dino flatpak, Dino crashes by freezing the moment the call is placed. Can reproduce this behavior consistently.
Deb: when placing a call, the call does initiate and connect. But then audio does not work. I do not hear any audio at all, and the other person hears audio of horrible quality.
Based on discussions in the Telegram group, it appears that Dino deb does work as expected on the FLX1s. So that deb issue seems to be only on the FLX1. The Dino flatpak issues appear to be both on the FLX1 and the FLX1s though.
