Advert Income strategy?

Hi

can I ask you guys what your advert income strategy is, I see like 1 google ad on a page that seems to be totally out of kilter from a design point. I'm a adtech person and I could help out with giving/ setting up a "proper" ad strategy, which depending on traffic is going to generate more income, I see in the account it was about 10k then down to 3k, but cant tell what is possible as cant see any "traffic" figures, but there seems to be something wrong/ changed with a drop from 10k to 3k?

In email we use job ads served by AdView. This is fairly recent - we used to use LiveIntent. There's more we can do to optimise AdView. On the site we use Google Ads. We will probably experiment with trying the job ads instead to compare the income stream. Not sure which account you're looking at?

i'm looking at: https://www.ilovefreegle.org/ and doing a search in my area bristol
most of the time, there are no ads at all?
is it something you would want help with/ in?

I can show you a test site etc, where i've done ads, so can see etc, would need you on an IM to show though, as password protected etc

I think what we will do next is try the job ads. They have gone down well by email, and they are probably a better fit for Freegle than other ads, many of which promote buying more physical stuff.

whats your traffic levels like, we talking 1m+ UU's a month, 10m page views etc etc
Also, i'm talking about on site ads, email would be a seperate channel. I could actualy mock up the site, to show you whats possible, where i think you could produce rev in the best way?

Roughly 400K users/month. Page views is harder to measure because we are a single-page app and so not everything hits Google Analytics.

By all means do a mockup. That could be helpful. We are not necessarily trying to maximise revenue, though - we need a certain amount to survive, but we don't want to burn through member goodwill by flooding the site with ads.
