20x Phase 3

20x Phase Three will focus on finalizing the process for 20x Low and 20x Moderate authorizations to become widely available to the public. This will include:

1. Ensuring complete requirements and expectations are in place and clearly documented
2. Providing initial tooling and related recommendations
3. A functional data-driven Marketplace for FedRAMP 20x authorizations
4. Expectations for assessment, possibly including a 20x-specific assessment certification
5. Transparent data on the queue, timelines, and general expectations for what it will look like to submit a 20x authorization

Phase 3 is now expected to begin in FY26 Q3 due to the impact of the longest government shutdown in history. FedRAMP will prioritize completion of the Phase 2 pilot prior to releasing formal authorization paths for 20x to the public in likely the second quarter of Phase 3.
