Has Issues With The Hook #3
Description
Using Shoot the Moon, this mod makes errors when calculating score it makes with queens in hand when playing The Hook boss blind.
I tried getting a video here but it didn't work for some reason, got !-- Failed to upload "20250421-2050-51.7962192.mp4" -- every time.
WGY2BLM4 is the seed I used if you want to try it for yourself, shoot the moon is in first bufoon pack in round 1 and the hook is ante 1 boss.
At first I thought it gave you the score you were going to get, regardless of the rng of which card in hand was to be discarded.
However, upon playing a hand that this identified as scoring 1440 (three jacks), the queen was discarded and i scored only 270.
Selecting a full house of 2 Aces and 3 Jacks scored as the mod was telling me, discarding the queen.
(this was after playing round 1 and 2, and discarding the 8,7,6,3 in the boss blind)
I'll try uploading the video again later maybe it will work next time.
It's really confusing to me since one time it got it right, and one time it got it wrong. Weird.
In summary, The Hook and Shoot the Moon don't work together.
To fix this, I would put luck ranges like normal, with lowest being 2 queens being discarded (if you have them ofc) and highest being none are (if possible)
