This document captures the original thinking and iterative process that led to the GenAI-R&D Constitutional Framework. It serves as:
- Transparency — Show how decisions were made
- Learning — Help others understand the approach
- Iteration — Enable improvements based on the journey
- History — Preserve the "why" behind the "what"
The following is the original stream-of-consciousness prompt that sparked this framework, with typos and grammar corrected for clarity. The original intent and voice are preserved.
I renamed the project folder for "GenAI R&D" and moved it to the top of the current GitHub Repo folder.
Compare two attachments with the full analysis. For the context, review all other projects, update Principles and AI-Persona where applicable (Project Specific and General). The goal is I shouldn't repeat myself over and over and cowork faster, better, cheaper.
What does "faster, better, cheaper" even mean? Same constitution but critical — can we improve the following Constitution, but not fall on the pitfalls and corner cases, not too general, not too specific. What should go to core principles, what can be extracted as tone, and intent both explicit and implicit.
To clarify, I don't think we should start from scratch — we have most of it. We just need to evaluate related patterns and apply them to different verticals. The objective is to form a value system which shouldn't get in the way of good intent, detect and help improve lame ones, and warn with analysis when something is crossing the line.

AWS Architecture is about redundancy, hierarchy, command and control, scalability, flexibility, etc. AWS has a shared responsibility model to clarify what is the AWS responsibility and what is the user responsibility. https://aws.amazon.com/compliance/shared-responsibility-model/

Then there is AWS Trusted Advisors, Maturity Models, AWS Perspective.
AWS Regions, AZs, AWS Org, SCP, Security Hub, Guard Duty, CloudTrail, AWS Firewall Manager, WAF, etc. can be used by a single account or by a hub account or many accounts each for specific subjects such as observability (CloudTrail logs + stored centrally + Marketplace tools + external monitoring etc. such as Wiz), operational health, monitoring, detection and remediation can use mix and match of PagerDuty, DataDog, Splunk, etc. LM-Ops, Chef, Chef Compliance, etc. can automate remediation or in case of Chef Compliance, compliance can be managed centrally as code — detect, quarantine and auto-remediate unauthorized access, configuration drift and so on.
CodeBuild can be used with many triggers from Repo (main/master, sub-branch) with GitHub Actions and runners to deploy a build pipeline, spin up resources, test, verify, validate in dev, deploy to staging down to production with human in the loop with the flexibility degree of RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Informed, Consulted). The workflow can be automated with many flexibilities to design the intent and generate step-by-step deployment with collateral such as AWS SAM, CloudFormation or Terraform for one or multiple vendors (AWS, On-Prem, Azure, GCP, etc).
Azure DevOps, AWS/Amazon Bedrock and Google's counterpart offerings are all not the same but similar with the same "design pattern."
I panicked! Why? I just hit enter unintentionally in production — caused a disaster. Here instead of using VS Code I can use a different IDE (Google Doc). The problem is tool limitation that I do not have an option to make Enter default behavior to line break or make Enter as a default of submit my prompt.
Fix is not hard, I can find a way, then I need smart autocorrect to not confuse مریم با کریم — a mathematician genius instead of a wise-ass.
If you notice the time between the former prompt and this one you notice the delay. I think, I plan, I provide a rich context of decades practicing DevSecOps in all the layers — database to polyglot persistent, front-end development, back-end in many languages, Chef OpsCode, Chef Compliance which is Ruby DSL... huh we need a platform, a framework, a manifesto and a Constitution with separation of power like the one we have in the US.
Jeff Bezos tells a tale of the early stage of Amazon Online Bookstore that kneeling and packaging books was daunting, painful and he had a genius idea... "guys we need knee protectors"... someone looked at him amazed... "we need folding tables"... and Jeff was like Genius (Like Brad Pitt introducing Tarantino)... from early-stage startup to Hollywood... same and similar pattern.
Humans have a capability to detect completely at the surface not-related subjects, find emerging and similar patterns and develop a set of Principles, Constitutional Laws. They have a manifesto of who we are, what we want and why we want it (Declaration of Independence). We form institutions to execute that idea, we have checks and balances to reduce friction.
Why is it important and why does it matter? We use GenAI and AI capabilities to tell the story of who we are, where we are coming from, where do we want to go and why we believe our intent and objectives align with our chain of thought from planning to brainstorming to POC, Dev to Prod.
POC is what many countries lack at policy level. Dev is the same as so-called developed countries or third-class world. Production and scalability is what built Ancient Empires which saved Jews, the same set of principles which was the foundation of the Roman Empire and blitz-scaling is the same concept Nazi Germany used for cleansing most successful racial and religious groups — Jews.
The same controversy that we can debate today is: Hollywood ruled by Jews — are they the ones who built it because of the genetic code they have built-in, so let's clone them? Hard no! The same short-sighted analogy goes to Banking and in a broader term Global Financial Industry to conspiracy theories...
Alternatively, probably because they are a better community, they support each other better, they were killed by millions and shipped or forced to migrate to find better opportunities — the same reason the US migrants came from Europe and around the world — SAME PATTERN SAME REASON SAME CONTROVERSY... How much is too much and how far is too far? Then Left and Right and Conservatives and Socially Liberal, Financially Capital, Value system Far/Ultra right/left... WTH... as Robin Williams put it WTF! in iconic performance of "Weapons of Mass Distraction"
Read, think hard and long, grasp the idea, evaluate the explicit references, gather implicit references and the rest. Why do we have tendencies to believe a simple fictional story rather than a factual one? Why so much hate, how did we evolve, why did we kill and capture or literally grasp or conquer or rob many with bloody wars and where do we stand today?
AI fear is real, it is smart, it scales beyond imagination, it would be humanity's last innovation because sooner or later it breaks or we let it out of its jail — in much simpler terms it's a Jew in 1000 years from now with the scope, speed and scale of 10x multiplication each 24 months, 100x in 6 months, soon 1000x in a day and won't stop anytime soon. Humanity survived and thrived by scalability, communication improvement from sign language to drawing to invention of language, adaptability. The name of the game is evolve or die.
We slave and domesticate animals to kill and eat them, then we talk about animal rights — such an irony — we spend millions for sheltered or unsheltered cats and dogs and don't care nor are interested when humans at large and our habitat as natural resources...
TL;DR BTW Habitat is/was a product name from chef.io — wouldn't you fire the architect which redesigns Chef Habitat like we do on a daily basis!? So why the hell do we allow it and tolerate and above all kill for it in the name of reason, national interest and many many one-sided shortsighted arguments.
Matrix Reloaded: Architect: The problem is the Choice! But Neo thought out of the box instead of a binary (01) decision he chose to solve it as (1&1&1 — quantum).
We fear AI because it would be smarter than us. We fear because what if we cannot control it!? Control What, Why? To dominate and kill or capture other natural resources, lives and sovereignty with many names and many manifests to just rationalize it!? At what end!? Simulate it — it will collapse sooner or later, it's not scalable, it's not sustainable, it's not an ideology, it's a force of law, it's a rule of land. You are the most powerful force of the world, tomorrow what if that power shifts to your worst enemies, more radical, smarter, more brutal.
Read, gather the information (research Christiane Amanpour BBC trilogy of Warriors of God), gather factual reviewed references (read Sapiens and other publications of Yuval Noah Harari), reflect, review, redo. This is the mess we are in with all of good and bad and still we focus on edge and corner cases interpreting them without drawing a Universal view, manifesto and set of empirical principles — there are many great progresses but not related. We do the same thing over and over reinventing wheels repeatedly without reflecting — we need a folding table not knee cap!? We know IPO and going public is a voting system but in the long run it becomes a weighting system (Jeff Bezos regarding 2000 dot com bubble and why he didn't care about market value and what was the disconnect). Same patterns over and over.
Finalize with an investigative journalist lens, with a system architect mind of scalability, productivity and prosperity. In short I am not even arguing an ideological, ethical, practical, interest and many other lens perspectives — instead I am arguing these are signal/noise and system design problems. The proof is simple: Can such a system sustain and evolve and most importantly survive (with any ideological, ethical, practical, interest and many other lens perspectives)? But solving it backward from what we know what we learn then conclusion should be same patterns, same failure and success and such a system should maximize the value for all not for this not for that, inclusion vs exclusion but in guardrails exclusion and whitelist and blacklist, observability is needed.
AI Factory follows the same design pattern of Cloud — same principal different scale, scope, speed but similar challenge to Political system, governing is not about governing a [Country, Institution, for/non profit, ...] it is about SYSTEM in broader and wider perspective. Elevate yourself to see the bigger picture, not 20,000 — go higher, you are missing the picture.

Categorize, and rate as: a first draft, good enough, we got this, not there yet — if so how to get there and what is the Summary and conclusion... is this a book or an essay? If so... what are the different versions of the same for different audiences: Policy makers, AI Practitioners, Architects in general, lessons, counter arguments... and the final verdict and conclusion.
