There is no single "super-app" that runs natively on mobile and desktop while retaining VS Code's specific multi-agent AI (like Cline, Copilot Workspace) because those agents require the heavy runtime of a desktop OS. However, you can achieve a better, unified system than your current mix by switching to a "Headless Studio" architecture. This setup centers on Quarto for publishing (replacing Google Docs/manual formatting) and VS Code Tunnels for mobile AI. The Recommended Setup: "The Headless Studio" This architecture uses your powerful Desktop (Lenovo Legion) as the "Brain" and your Mobile devices as "Satellites."

Desktop (Windows/Mac) Mobile (iPad M5 / Samsung S26)
VS Code (Main Hub) VS Code Tunnels (Online) / Obsidian (Offline) [1]
Quarto (Auto-builds PDF/Epub/Web) View Only (Builds via GitHub Actions)
Local Agents (Cline, Copilot, etc.) [2, 3] Remote Access to Desktop Agents
Git (Native) Working Copy (iOS) / Obsidian Git (Android)

Step 1: The Publishing Engine (Replace Google Docs) Use Quarto. Quarto is the "better" tool you are looking for to replace the messy "MD -> Google Doc" handoff. It is an open-source scientific and technical publishing system that works inside VS Code.

  • Why it wins: It compiles your Markdown directly into high-quality PDFs (LaTeX), ePubs (Books), and Websites without you ever leaving VS Code.
  • RTL Support: Quarto handles mixed English/Persian perfectly using dir="auto" or explicit RTL classes in the output.

Step 2: The "Mobile AI" Solution (VS Code Tunnels) You don't need a mobile app with AI; you need access to your Desktop's AI. [4]

  • Action: On your Lenovo Legion, enable VS Code Remote Tunnels.
  • Workflow: When you are at a cafe with your iPad M5 or Samsung S26, open your browser to vscode.dev.
  • Result: You get your exact desktop VS Code instance in the browser. All your extensions, multi-agent AI (Cline/Copilot), and terminal access run on your powerful Legion PC, but you control them from the tablet.

Step 3: The "Offline" Solution (Obsidian + Git) When you have no internet (plane/remote), you fall back to raw text editing.
