Any way to make music being played show up as like "system wide" playing?

Hi! Recently moved back to linux (went with arch) and wanted to get airplay to stream music from my phone to desktop and found this project.

I'm now wondering is there a way for me to have it so that the metadata gets used in the like player controls on kde (what I'm using for a de)? Would just be a slight qol thing even if I can't control it (but would obviously be nice if I could control play pause and stuff too)
