IO Unit #1
Description
IO Unit is special cased, with custom hooks into the register file. I'd like someone to look into it and see if they can pull it out into something closer to the custom functional units
- Why is it special to start?
- is it feasible to pull into a standard BFU
- change archgen to report back the IO unit instead of current implicit IO unit instance
- Change scala to recognize that the IO unit is not special and remove "fence post"-ing around the IO unit (Also around the LSU)
