evdev option does not work on GNOME 48 #100

Description

Enabling evdev causes the mouse tracking to completely fail. Without evdev it works fine, even if I run remouse as sudo. This is on Fedora 42. evdev did work before, but I was on an earlier remarkable 2 version and was on Fedora 40, so I cannot tell what change actually broke the functionality.

Also I do not know if this is an issue with not having evdev turned on, but using the eraser end of the pen does not change the brush in Krita anymore.

I believe the issue is actually due to gnome in fedora 42 as there is now a window that asks for permission to capture the screen that does not show up when using the evdev option.
