What would it take to get networking on rpi pico w
I am interested in contributing if no one else has tried it out (tho no promises), is it just defining CONFIG_NET and implementing these

The main problem is firmware for the wifi chip. I think last time I tried with cyw43 module that comes with pico-sdk , it was not possible to fit kernel and firmware blob into flash at the same time. You'd need to figure out what sdk does and load it from sd card with kernel driver or userland utility. I didn't have time to play with it, but should be possible.

I don't think David touched rpipico for a while. I've been poking at it from time to time.

Hey what was the limitation here ? It's a bit surprising that it's not able to fit within 2mb of flash
Fuzix without networking takes about 600kb, I can't imagining adding networking support add so much more.
