Hi!
Thank you so much for open-sourcing the great project.
Could you provide a detailed manual on how to use the app as well? I installed the app on my Quest 3. and started my server on my Mac.

I'm using "no_glove" branch.

I set the IP address in IP_Config as instructed in the README and run the following command in my terminal:

python data_collection_server.py --no_camera

I got:

pybullet build time: Dec 27 2024 17:32:45
Initialization completed

In the VR, it asked me to input the IP of my host machine (I'm running it on Mac, I'm not quite sure whether that caused the problem). After I input it, I placed a franka + gripper robot, then I got "Object Found". but after that, I got not instructions about how to proceed. There was one time I got some "Recording: 1/2/3 " stuff on my screen. but when I checked the "data_processing" directory on my laptop. there is nothing in the "data" directory (I created it before running anything). I'm a bit confused about what's happening on the App, or how to proceed.....

Would you mind providing step-by-step instructions about how to use the App?... or it might already exist but I didn't find it.

It seems once I pinch with my right hand with my thumb and index finger it starts recording, and then my laptop receives responses from Quest, and everything reasonably worked. I can see trajectories stored.

Another thing: it seems the ports are hardcoded, if you change them, it doesn't work.

I encountered the same issue, but I am using a Smart Glove. After entering the IP address in Meta Quest, I can use the controller to start and stop the recording. However, none of my hand gestures seem to make the VR robot mimic my hand movements.

I’m encountering the same issue and wanted to share my setup and steps for troubleshooting:

I’m running the non-Rokoko Gloves version on Windows 11. After configuring the IP addresses for both my Meta Quest 3 headset and laptop, I executed the command:
python data_collection_server.py --handedness left --no_camera

The terminal output showed:
pybullet build time: Oct 21 2025 11:46:21
Initialization completed.

In VR, I launched the ARCap app (without Rokoko Gloves) and entered my laptop’s IP address. After positioning the robotic arm as instructed, I pressed the A key to start recording—but the robotic arm does not track the controller’s movements at all.

Has anyone encountered this issue before, or could someone share guidance on how to resolve it?
