Wallet - Out of Sync

The wallet says "Out of Sync" and I have already transferred funds from my cryptopia account and it is not appearing. Does anybody know how to fix this issue? Furthermore, does anybody know if my coins are lost?

Hey bud, I was able to fix it by watching this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Id4CJOTP_1k
Follow it step by step and you should be fine and your coins should arrive once your wallet sync. I hope it helps bud, let me know if it doesn't.

The same problem here, that video is for windows only. I'm on a mac and that can't help me, please release a fix for this or a "how to do" for mac users. Thank you.

Forget the video
Download the latest version
Open it and leave it open so it can connect to the network... Make sure the wallet is unlocked and pay attention to the blue status bar at the bottom of your wallet it might take up to 24 hrs to sync

I did the same thing. I saved my wallet and opened it on a windows computer with no success. It automatically generated a new address anyways. My Macbook currently says syncing, which come comes and goes, but with my no progress. My next step is to try a different internet connection. Maybe something on my current internet connection is throttling the speed because it is trying to download the entire blockchain Ember runs off of. I will keep everyone posted if I find a fix.
