Can't get it to run on Mac, wondering if I'm missing something or if the instructions could be more clear?

I copied the downloaded bundle and put it in the correct folder, showed package contents, made a MacOS folder, and pasted the .dvcp file I built into it.

When I open Resolve I get an error that says “ffmpeg_encoder_plugin.dvcp.bundle” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash.

Is there a different method I'm supposed to use to do this so it isn't flagged by MacOS as unsigned? Or does this plugin require different security settings to be enabled?

I believe this issue occurs because you will get the quarantine flag for the downloaded bundle, which you wouldn't get if the folder structure ffmpeg_encoder_plugin.dvcp.bundle/Contents/MacOS/ was created manually. You can remove the quarantine flags by running xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine ffmpeg_encoder_plugin.dvcp.bundle and see if that helps.

I'm sorry if the instructions for Mac are incomplete. I haven't been able to properly test the plugin on MacOS because I don't own a Mac.

The description of Mac OS is complete, and I successfully installed it. I exported a video in x264 format on macOS 15.1.1 using an M1 Pro chip.
