Changes to ESGF-Build script broke directory convention

 I was attempting to make a fix to the build script a few weeks ago because the artifacts were not getting pushed to the Github repo when I was cutting a new release.  

Looks like my changes modified the directory structure of the artifacts that get pushed to the repo (compared what's in master to an old commit).
