Add functionality like in foo_discogs plugin and fb2k philosophy, give to user all power of customize. It's really terrible now, not to able to turn off barcode, but make works label and catnumers, then really helpful MBIDz is release id (by foo_run with shortcut, momentaly to MB edit page) and TOC/DiscID tag to indicate what MB releases misses TOC. Now only solution to avoid data that you don't want, is to run masstager script every time after getting tags.
Also this method allows to give different option like "Use full date" to Orig. Date and just Date or to resolve method for artist/albumartist/track/ablum tag. Because with grow of power of foo_musicbrainz it's relay possible situation when place with area for checkboxes just end :) Look at my mockup with setting window http://img15.imageshack.us/img15/4659/foombtagmappingmockup.png Information in left column must be replaced to MB of course :) Also mocukup have my thought about #27
P.S. For example why used ID3V2 format "ORIGINAL RELEASE DATE" instead internal "originaldate" (how it done with all other field). I already added %originaldate% to whole my flac library :-( Of course masstager can help me, but lack in flexibility in such moments it's not good at all.
