Sure go ahead, do keep in mind that you currently have a few open draft pr's. Might be better to finish those first 😄 .

It should not be using the play services but will have to check could be some package is using those libraries.

I was just thinking about starting a PR to implement this, and I remembered, do you think mdk-sdk would affect this because technically it does not have an OSS license?

We'll have to see. I'm currently just going of off the flutter package "fvp" license (BSD-3-Clause) that Fladder uses. Which should be compatible.

If it becomes a problem with the license we should probably just remove the MDK backend. Or find a way for users to download the binaries themselves later on.
